Arunachal Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act
The Arunachal Pradesh Freedom of Religion Act, 1978 (APFRA) is a state law of Arunachal Pradesh, India, that prohibits religious conversion brought about by force, inducement or fraudulent means. This law was passed by the first Legislative Assembly of the then Union Territory of Arunachal Pradesh in October 1978 and subsequently, introduced by the first Chief Minister, Prem Khandu Thungon.
