Arunachal church burnings, 1968–1978

The anti-Christian violence in Arunachal Pradesh between 1968 and 1978 refers to a decade-long period during which Christian communities in the North-East Frontier Agency (NEFA), renamed Arunachal Pradesh on 20 January 1972, faced administrative restrictions, arson, vandalism of churches and prayer houses, and arrests of pastors. The reported incidents were concentrated in the Adi and Nyishi belts of the territory.
